Marathon Madness Finale

Well, it's about over.

The marathon drama of the last 18 months is finally coming to an end. After trial and error, after elation and disappointment, camaraderie and solitude, endless miles on the trail, hours on my bike trainer and laps in the pool...not to mention a complete change in lifestyle and a lesser change in personal worldview, the elusive 1st marathon is less than two weeks away.

If you'd like to see the culmination of the last year and a half, or you'd just enjoy seeing me at the end of my faculties, feel free to come down and watch me pass out on the finish line at the Sundial Bridge next Sunday (Jan. 18th). Heather could use the company anyway. I know Marty and Becky are down (you guys rock!), but if anyone else is down to stop by and help revive me, let me know and I'll give you the info.

If you want to catch up on the marathon saga, it's all right here:
