Gear Review: High Sierra’s Sentinel 65 and Summit 45 Packs
Bill Brown February 18, 2009
If I’m playing outside, I don’t want to get slowed down by realizing that I left something at home for lack of room and I go insane if I’ve got a piece of gear in my pack but can’t find it because it’s buried under every single other thing that I’ve packed.
Also, I’ve got no love for a pack that can’t hang with me. I’ve had packs fall with me down cliffs, tumble out of the beds of pickup trucks. I’ve seen countless bags burst seams and lose straps from their loads. It’s a sad pack that can’t handle a simple catastrophic plunge.
